A Word To Parents  

GUIDELINES FOR THE PARENTS / GUARDIANS

  1. The parents/guardians are expected to co-operate with the school by enforcing regularity and discipline and by showing a keen interest in their children’s progress
  2. As per the ethos of DAV organization non veg. food items including eggs are strictly prohibited in the school premises or in any programme organized by the school. Parents are also requested to avoid food for the children and maintain healthy and hygienic diet for their ward.
  3. They should feel free to make any suggestion(s) for the betterment of the school. For that, they may come personally or send a note.
  4. Both father and mother should attend the parent-teacher meetings organized by the school from time to time.
  5. The parents/guardians are not expected to enter the classrooms or meet the teachers during the school hours.

           They can, however, see them before/after the school hours or during the recess or in an urgent case, by appointment                 through the Principal.

       6. They may meet the Principal on working days as per the specified timing given by the concerned office of the Principal.

LEAVE RULES

  1. Absence without intimation is seriously viewed. In case of seven consecutive days of absence, the student’s name shall be struck off. He or she may, however, be re-admitted (subsequent to the Principal’s direction) after he or she has paid all the dues and the re-admission fee.
  2. For leave of absence, a letter must be sent by the parent(s)/guardian and also a note is to be made in the dairy. All the students are expected to attend the classes on the closing day and opening day of each vacation.
  3. Absence due to sickness must be supported by a medical certificate. The students attending school after suffering from infectious diseases such as measles, chicken pox, cholera, mumps,  whooping cough etc. must produce a fitness certificate from a registered doctor.

PAYMENT OF FEES

  1. Fees must be deposited on time to avoid late fine.
  2. Late fee deposit rules will be as per the norms of the concerned school.
  3. The defaulter’s name shall be struck off on non-payment of the fee for three months consecutively without any intimation to the school.
  4. Re-admission may be accepted with payment of re-admission fee as per the norms of the concerned school.
  5. Payment of the fees in advance for the entire session is also accepted.
  6. For Class X and XII, the school fees till March has to be deposited by December so as to get a no-dues certificate.

NOTE : Instructions/notifications circulated by the concerned school will be final and binding.
